Lou Cooperhouse, President of Food Spectrum, previously served on the Board of Directors and as a member of the Executive Committee of NBIA. He has also spoken at a number of annual conferences and led training workshops in food business incubation for NBIA. Previously, Lou served as Director of the Rutgers University Food Innovation Center, which was recognized as “Incubator of the Year” by the NBIA in 2007 and also as an Agricultural Innovation Center Demonstration Program by the USDA.  In addition, Lou has served as President of the New Jersey Business Incubation Network, and as President of the New Jersey Food Processors Association. Lou has served as an expert witness to the US Congress where he testified on global best practices in business incubation, cluster formation, and job creation, and he has consulted on incubation projects throughout North America, and in Africa, Asia, and Central America.
